Set up notifications for shared lists
You can receive notifications when tasks are added to a shared list.
This feature is available only with a Premium subscription.
How it works:
- If you have a visible TasksBoard tab open, notifications will appear as an in-app banner at the top of the screen along with a sound alert. The banner shows which task was added and to which list.

- If the app is in the background or closed, you’ll receive a standard system notification from your browser. Clicking the notification will open the related list.

How to enable notifications:
Section titled “How to enable notifications:”To start receiving notifications for shared lists:
- Click the bell icon (🔔) in the top-right corner of the TasksBoard toolbar.

- Allow browser notifications when prompted.
Notifications will only be delivered if your browser allows them and TasksBoard has permission to send them.
Notifications are only triggered when a sync is performed on TasksBoard.
This means if a change is made in Google Calendar (or another connected service), it won’t trigger a notification until one of the users of the shared list opens TasksBoard and sync occurs.
