TasksBoard shows a blank page

Tento obsah zatím není dostupný ve vašem jazyce.

A connection problem shows a dialog or an icon in the top bar; those cases are in fix connection issues. This page is for the other case: tasksboard.com/app loads as a completely empty page, white or black, with no sign-in button and no error message.

The app’s code did not start in your browser. Either the browser is running a stale copy of the app from its cache, or a release is broken for everyone. Your tasks are safe either way: TasksBoard never stores them, and they stay available in Gmail, Google Calendar and the Google Tasks apps.

  1. Reload bypassing the cache: Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows and Linux, Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac.
  2. If the page is still empty, open tasksboard.com/app in a private window or another browser. If it works there, clear the site data for tasksboard.com in your usual browser (Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies > See all site data and permissions, search “tasksboard”), then sign in again.
  3. Wait an hour and reload. After a release, browsers can keep the previous version of the app for up to an hour.

The desktop and mobile versions of TasksBoard are the same web app, so the same steps apply; there is nothing to reinstall.

If the page is empty in every browser, on your phone too, and for your colleagues, a release is broken and we are already working on it: outages are visible to us within minutes. Check @TasksBoard on X for updates and try again a little later.

Writing to contact@tasksboard.com helps if you add what the browser console shows: press F12 (or Cmd+Option+J on a Mac), open the Console tab, reload and copy the red line. A message such as “Cannot access … before initialization” confirms a broken build rather than a problem with your account.
