Payment failed emails

このコンテンツはまだ日本語訳がありません。

When a monthly or yearly payment is declined, Stripe, our payment processor, sends you an email titled “$47.88 payment to Tasksboard was unsuccessful” (with your own amount). The Subscription page shows the status “Payment failed” at the same time.

The card expired, was replaced, has reached its limit, or the bank declined an online or foreign payment. The email does not say which; your bank can.

Stripe retries the card several times over the following weeks and emails you after each failed attempt (“was unsuccessful again”). Premium stays active during the retries. If every retry fails, the subscription ends: Premium is switched off and nothing more is charged.

  1. Click your avatar at the top right and choose “Subscription”.
  2. Click “Manage billing & invoices” and update the card.

The next retry uses the new card; you can also pay the open invoice from the same page. See manage subscription.

If you do not want to continue, cancel the subscription from the Subscription page. A cancelled subscription is not retried and the emails stop. If you cannot sign in to that account, see cancel a subscription you cannot sign in to.
